At Eissa Fiber Glass LLC, we specialize in the design, manufacture, and supply of premium GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy), GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic), and GRV (Glass Reinforced Vinyl Ester) tanks. Our tanks are engineered for superior performance, durability, and corrosion resistance across a wide range of applications.

Whether for water storage, chemical processing, fuel containment, or wastewater management, we deliver custom-built solutions that meet the highest industry standards.

GRE (Glass Reinforced Epoxy) Tanks: Tanks made using glass fiber reinforcements in an epoxy resin matrix, known for high chemical resistance and strength.

GRP (Glass Reinforced Plastic) Tanks: Tanks made with glass fibers and thermoset resins (usually polyester or vinyl ester), offering corrosion resistance and versatility.

GRV (Glass Reinforced Vinylester) Tanks: Tanks utilizing glass fibers with Vinylester resins, combining chemical resistance with mechanical strength.

Manufacturing Processes

  1. Filament Winding

    • Most common for GRE, GRP, and GRV tanks.

    • Continuous glass fibers are impregnated with resin (epoxy, polyester, or vinylester) and wound onto a rotating mandrel in precise patterns (helical, hoop) to build up the tank wall.

    • After winding, the tank is cured, removed from the mandrel, and finished with fittings and accessories.

  2. Hand Lay-Up/Lamination

    • Layers of glass fiber mats or fabrics are manually laid onto a mold and saturated with resin.

    • Air bubbles are removed with rollers, and the composite is cured before demolding and trimming.

    • Suitable for custom shapes and small production runs.

  3. Fiber Resin Spraying

    • Automated or semi-automated process where chopped glass fibers and resin are sprayed onto a mold.

    • Used for large-area components and tanks, sometimes combined with sandwich structures for added strength.

Advantages

    • Corrosion Resistance: Excellent for aggressive chemicals and environments.

    • Lightweight: Easier handling and installation compared to steel.

    • Customizable: Can be engineered for specific sizes, shapes, and performance requirements.

    • Low Maintenance: Long service life with minimal upkeep.

Tank Type Resin Used Key Strengths Typical Applications
GRE Epoxy High chemical resistance Chemicals, oil & gas, water
GRP Polyester/Vinylester Versatile, cost-effective Water, chemicals, wastewater
GRV Vinylester Superior corrosion & strength Aggressive chemicals, acids

GRE, GRP, and GRV tanks are advanced composite storage solutions manufactured mainly by filament winding, hand lay-up, or resin spraying, offering high corrosion resistance, strength, and durability for a wide range of industrial applications
